UPDATE FOR JANUARY 2004 19/01/2004 AGM 11th FEBUARY 2004 Proxy packs were sent on the 9th January to all shareholders. Any shareholder who has not received theirs should contact Nicola at Willmotts ASAP. PLANNING APPLICATIONS Planning applications have been made to the Merton Council by flats 151, 153 and 351. No formal application has been made to WC yet. WATER INGRESS Willmotts are pursuing their claim with Zurich to remedy the water ingress in Esporta and the water leaks in block 1.
I will be stepping down as Chairman at the AGM and would like to take this opportunity to thank all the shareholders, who supported the purchase of Wimbledon Central freehold, and for the number of supporting letters and emails during my 2 years in this role. My sincere appreciation to the board for their commitment and the long hours that they have put into setting up WCRA Ltd and the associations increasing workload. I am always mindful that this is a voluntary position and they all have busy working lives. Lastly my thanks to our professional advisers Willmotts and DKLL for their common sense approach and advice on the issues that have arisen from time to time between board members during both the board and shareholders, first year as the freeholders of Wimbledon Central.
