In addition to a full range of high-street shopping names and several supermarkets, Wimbledon is home to the Centre Court shopping centre, located in the Broadway next to Wimbledon Station. This houses a further selection of high-street chains, smaller retailers and opens into Debenhams.

Entertainment and the arts flourish in Wimbledon. The Wimbledon Theatre hosts a comprehensive programme of top productions in their Spring Season Programme together with a popular annual pantomime. A complementary programme of new drama, cabaret and musical performances are on offer in the theatre's smaller studio theatre. Also in Wimbledon, the Polka Theatre specialises in children's productions and family entertainment. The Odeon cinema boasts an impressive twelve screen multiplex.
